Rosa Marquez is a recent graduate of the Spring 2015 HACE Women’s Leadership Program, which sparked an interest and passion for her to continue to work with the organization. She decided to be a part of the board for Mujeres de HACE and take on the role of Secretary for the next two years starting in 2016.

Rosa spent 16 years with U.S Cellular where she held various roles with her final role as an Area Sales Manager. As an Area Sales Manager, Rosa was responsible for the indirect sales channel for Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. She was responsible for providing leadership and direction to the indirect team, driving sales activities to achieve desired results for the organization, facilitating trainings, consulting with authorized agents/entrepreneurs to ensure they had a balanced network of activities that would grow their business through mutual action plans and maintaining open communication across the organization and various channels.

Rosa is one of six children and was the first in her family to attend and graduate college. Rosa received her Double Bachelor’s from Northern Illinois University in Business Administration and German Business Translation. She is also a graduate of the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce’s 2012 Leadership Academy Program. She is an active participant and volunteer for the Kishwaukee United Way’s Day of Caring Committee as well as volunteer catechist at her local church. Rosa enjoys traveling, spending time with family and caring for her daughter.
