Juan is Managing Director and Partner at Toroso Investments, LLC, a registered investment advisor firm. Toroso is committed to providing its clients with strategies that allow them to express their economic point of view, consistent with their risk tolerance and time horizon, through core asset allocation and income strategies that are intended to perform well in all economic climates. Juan provides investment advisory and retirement plan advisory services to clients, which include high net worth individuals, business owners, public and private corporations, public sector entities, and not-for-profit entities and foundations. Juan has 22 years of financial service industry experience.Prior to joining Toroso, he spent 3 years as a Senior Vice President with Mesirow Financial where he co-led an investment advisory practice with Olga Camargo. Prior to joining Mesirow Financial, Juan spent 19 years at Merrill Lynch where he was a Senior Financial Advisor, Vice President, with their Private Client Wealth Management Group. Juan serves as Trustee for the Policeman's Annuity & Benefit Fund of Chicago, and Board Chair for the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE).

He received his bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and his masters in business administration degree from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. In 2011 he earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) professional designation. Most recently Chicago United recognized Juan as its 2011 Most Valuable Partner and the Chicago Latino Network voted Juan the 2011 Latino Professional of the Year. Juan was named one of Chicago Magazine's "Five Star Wealth Managers" for 2012, 2011 and 2010 as selected through an independent survey to identify Chicagoland wealth managers who scored the highest in overall client satisfaction.
