He has lived and worked abroad and has served on the board of the World Affairs Council since 2012. He is the recipient of the Group Study Exchange Program from Rotary International Foundation. In 2000, Michael led an international call center to serve public libraries worldwide and contributed to the company’s expansion to Canada, UK and Australia.In 2009, Michael launched a new global workforce development initiative for the city of Louisville, KY to attract, retain and engage talent of minority background. His organization, Greater Louisville International Professionals, was recognized by the International Economic Development Council and he was honored the Business First 40 Under 40 and WACA Global Visionary Awards. Michael worked closely with the Hispanic community to create symposiums and leadership series to address the talent needs of the 21st century.He is the co-founder of a non-profit organization, Amazing Global Marketplace, which mentors high school students about global leadership. Before relocating to Chicago in 2016, Michael led international recruitment strategies for a private university. Michael is multi-lingual and a persuasive leader who aspires to make an impact on people and communities.He was born in Luxembourg and holds a dual nationality from France and Italy. He has earned a Bachelor of Hospitality Management from Sullivan University, KY and an MBA from Indiana University.
