Area: Michigan Avenue is Chicago's heart, and our hotel on Magnificent Mile puts you right in its center. Magnificent Mile is a section of North Michigan Avenue that stretches from Lake Shore Drive to the Chicago River. InterContinental Magnificent Mile hotel allows you to easily partake in the premier shopping and dining that line the mile. Luxury shopping includes Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Armani, and more, particularly in the North Bridge mall. More casual clothes shopping is available at Nike, Top Shop, H&M, and Gap. Upscale dining, like at the Grand Lux Cafe, provides you with cozy places for a lunch break in between shopping trips. One of Chicago's many excellent theater companies, Lookingglass Theater Company, also lies on the mile. Historic buildings line the street, including the Tribune Tower, which is next to our Magnificent Mile hotel. The historic Watertower is another landmark.
