Veronica currently sits on the Alumnae Auxiliary Board for Mujeres de HACE. With over 14 years’ of experience in the finance and accounting profession, analytical and performance-driven, her expertise is in operations management, project management, strategic planning, process improvement, and compliance and controls.

Veronica is the Senior Compliance Project Manager for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. She is held accountable for upholding, planning and executing the Bank’s compliance strategy. Implementing best practices and simplifying procedures to protect the Bank’s reputational risk and take initiatives to maintain compliance with all business lines.

As a first-generation graduate with proud Mexican roots, Veronica is passionate about her personal and professional growth and in supporting and empowering future Latina professionals. Veronica loves bachata dancing, taking road trips with her kids, traveling and cooking delicious traditional Mexican food for her family.

Veronica attended DePaul University to earn her MBA in Management and Business Strategy in Decision Making and her undergrad from DeVry University in Finance and Accounting.
