Avanza Where Momentum Meets Opportunity!

Blending innovation and HACE tradition, Avanza captures the energy of advancement and your relentless drive toward new heights, personally and professionally.

Join us at Summit 2024 and fuel your journey with Avanza—where each stride takes you beyond boundaries, unlocking your full potential.

As we near the end 2023, here at HACE we are looking forward to a productive and meaningful 2024 in a significant way. In fact, our theme is encapsulated in this powerful idea “Avanza—Where Momentum Meets Opportunity!” Avanza is a Spanish word that means “moving forward.” As our organization blends its tradition and innovation, Avanza captures the energy of advancement and a relentless drive toward new heights in a personal and professional way.

We are infusing this theme in HACE’s upcoming Annual National Leadership Summit and Awards Gala on April 25 and 26 in Chicago. There, corporate leaders, educators, elected officials, employers and many professionals will come together at Convene at Willis Tower to discuss ways to promote, invest and support talent who can grow into leadership roles, defining the mission of diversity and inclusion for major companies.

In modern organizations, aligning HR and DEI efforts is crucial for fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce, where HR practices not only adhere to legal compliance but also actively contribute to creating an environment that celebrates diversity, ensures equity, and promotes inclusion for all employees. “¡Basta Ya!” Conquering Imposter Syndrome, the Telenovela in Your Head

Have you ever felt like a fraud, even when you’ve earned your seat at the table? Do you experience a constant loop of self-doubt, whispering “no eres suficiente” despite your accomplishments? You’re not alone. Imposter syndrome plagues many, but how does it affect the Latinx professional?  Think of imposter syndrome as the ultimate telenovela playing in your head. You’re the protagonista, battling villains like “La Duda” (doubt) and “El Miedo” (fear), while navigating twists and turns of microaggressions and societal expectations. We’ll hear from members of the community who have played this novela in their head and discuss how to break down the common tropes of this internal telenovela.  But just like a telenovela, this story doesn’t have to end in tears! Join us as we flip the script on imposter syndrome. We’ll share strategies to rewrite our internal narratives, silence the negative voices, and celebrate our achievements with a “¡Basta Ya!” (enough is enough) attitude. We’ll build a supportive community where we can share our experiences, learn from each other, and amplify our voices as Latinos ready to conquer the world.
