Human Resources Manager
Monica Maize is the Human Resource Manager for the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Supply Chain Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration both from Ashford University in San Diego, CA. She is an Army Veteran with over 20 years of experience as a Human Resource Manager. Working as a Talent Acquisition Manager in the Army, she has been able to cultivate and build several relationships with several different non-profit organizations within the local communities all across the United States. She also has been a career counselor for the youth and young adults within her local communities. After retiring from the Army, she has obtained her Real Estate Sales License for the State of Texas. Monica has also been a Branch Banking Manager for Wells Fargo prior to her current role as the Human Resource Manager.
Monica possesses an abundance of leadership skills, she is a master of conflict resolution and has a wide range experience in Human Resources, Operations Management, Business Administration, Marketing Analysis and Supply and Logistics operations. Monica has a diverse skill set and has been able to work with almost every culture and understands their needs and respects the culture of everyone. She has performed duties as the Equal Opportunity Leader ensuring everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
Monica is passionate about helping others and ensuring her department is the best that they can be for the organization. She is a team player and enjoys helping others achieve their personal and professional goals. She has been instrumental in the development of her employees, colleagues and the youth that make up our future for tomorrow.
