Tony has always been amazed with buildings. Call it a love for complex, beautifully designed, century lasting odes to human perseverance or call it a napoleon complex, Tony decided to pursue a career in design and construction.

Tony is the first in his family to go to college and a first-generation college graduate. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University. Since graduating, Tony has had the pleasure of collaborating with private developers, designers, engineers, contractors, municipalities, and non-profits to build amazing spaces in and around Chicago.

Currently, Tony works as a Project Manager at Cullen Construction Management. On some days, he plays site superintendent and coordinates trade partners in the field, on other days, he prepares for and runs meetings with municipalities. There are days where he focuses on pre-construction and prepares logistic plans, budget estimates, and schedules.

Overall, Tony fills the gaps for Owners in the development process.
Tony’s previous experience includes working for general contractors. Initially, Tony was with an international General Contractor in their Chicago Office. While there, Tony helped manage the construction of multiple high-rise buildings in downtown Chicago and worked on a project at the University of Chicago. Tony then moved to a smaller developer / general contractor. Tony was the first Project Manager hired at that company. He worked on an array of commercial projects and on the company’s largest residential project at the time.

Additionally, Tony is a strong believer in giving back. Outside of work, he is an ACE Mentor. As a mentor, Tony works with colleagues in the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering industries to provide insight and advice to high school students while they work on designing their own project. Further, Tony is a House Captain for Rebuilding Together. As House Captain, Tony is responsible for coordinating a safe and dry, one-day renovation of someone’s home. For a time, Tony also served as the Regional Director for Alumni Engagement in his fraternity, Omega Delta Phi, Inc. When he is not busy playing with his corgi, Tony enjoys traveling with his wife, reading, and playing video games.
