Berenice Galvez Soto is a trailblazing first-generation Latina leader, educator, and holistic healer who has devoted her life to empowering others, especially women, minorities, and underrepresented communities, to step into their full potential. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, she combines clinical excellence with intuitive wisdom to support the physical, emotional, and spiritual healing of those she serves.
Berenice’s journey began with remarkable resilience. A teen mother at the age of 15, she used her early challenges as a catalyst for transformation, earning her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Morton College in 2008. Her drive to uplift others led her from hands-on therapy roles to leadership positions in quality assurance and compliance, eventually becoming a Quality Assurance Compliance Coordinator for HealthPRO Heritage and later a Corporate Compliance Officer at Numotion. She also holds numerous professional certifications, including in musculoskeletal therapy, QAPI, kinesiology taping, aquatic therapy, and clinical instruction.
An educator at heart, Berenice has taught for more than a decade at institutions including Fox College, Morton College, and Triton College, sharing her clinical knowledge and life experience with future healthcare professionals. In 2019, she was honored by McKnight’s Long-Term Care News as a “Rising Star,” recognized for her innovative contributions to post-acute care and dedication to advancing women in healthcare leadership.
But Berenice’s vision extends far beyond traditional healthcare. She is the founder of BGS Evolution, a spiritually grounded small business created with her three daughters. Through BGS Evolution, she offers holistic services including mediumship, cacao ceremonies, intuitive crystal and essential oil consultations, and personalized spiritual bundles designed to meet the energetic and emotional needs of her clients. As a certified essential oil and crystal healer, she crafts every experience with intention, using tools charged under celestial events to help clients reclaim their balance, intuition, and inner strength.
Among her signature offerings is the Virtual Cacao Ceremony, a heart-centered experience that combines ceremonial cacao, meditation, and guided reflection. This sacred ritual helps participants release emotional blockages, set clear intentions, and reconnect with their higher self, all from the comfort of their home.
In 2024, Berenice became an Amazon best-selling author through her contribution to Lioness Prayers & Affirmations for Women Leaders Volume 2. In her powerful chapter, The Silent Condition, she explores the damaging effects of perfectionism and self-sabotage, urging readers to release the inner narratives that limit their growth. Through heartfelt prayers and affirmations, she empowers women to embrace their authentic selves and lead from a place of truth, compassion, and courage.
