HACE Colores
Colores aims to provide a safe environment for Latino/a/x/e LGBTQIA+ participants to enhance their leadership skills so they can lead authentically, confidently, and effectively. Participants will explore various challenges and opportunities that are specific to the intersectional LGBTQIA+ community. They will also learn leadership theories and participate in an action learning experience. By learning practical tools and strategic insights, participants will develop the necessary skills necessary to produce immediate and sustainable results for themselves and the organizations they serve.
Participant Profile
• Identify as LGBTQIA+
• Identify as Latino/a/x/e and/or Hispanic
• 0-10 years of professional experience
• Currently in a supervisory role or will take on a supervisory role in the near future

This culturally-relevant and cohort-based program will help participants build a supportive network of LGBTQIA+ leaders across various industries. The program will be facilitated by two LGBTQIA+ executive coaches. Subject-matter experts from the LGBTQIA+ community will serve as guest speakers.
Program Language
All sessions and materials are in English. Based on availability, bilingual (English and Spanish) guest speakers share their experiences, struggles, successes, and lessons learned. Personalized Insights Discovery profiles are available in multiple languages. Insights Discovery executive coaching sessions are available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (based on availability). Time Commitment
HACE Colores participants will meet biweekly for programming content, network building, a group project collaboration. The estimated time commitment for successful completion of the program is approximately 37 hours and outlined below:
- 1 hour of pre-course preparation (onboarding session)
- 21 hours of classroom instruction
- 7 hours of group project preparation (recommended to meet at least one hour every other week with group members)
- 1 hour of individualized executive coaching
- 2 hours of networking events (optional and open to the HACE network)
- 3 hours of presentations (yours and other groups in your cohort)
- 2 hours graduation ceremony

Onboarding
Accepted Participants will be required to attend one of these sessions to learn about the program and understand participant expectations.

Graduation will be held in June.
*During program sessions, participants will engage in interactive discussions, independent practice, and group activities, led by Program Lead/s who serve as facilitators. Sessions will feature guest speakers to explore the topics through story and experience further.

Attendance Policy
We expect all participants to attend each session as scheduled. Given the fast-paced nature of our learning environment, we allow for only one missed session at maximum. Please note that the group presentation doesn’t qualify as an excused absence unless there’s a genuine emergency.
Tuition
The HACE COLORES program has a tuition cost of $3,995.

My employer is a HACE partner and nominated me for this opportunity & will be covering my tuition. You will receive nominee communications from HACE with instructions on accepting the nomination and enrolling in the program.
