Partnership Engagement Manager

Irma Rodriguez is the Partnership Engagement Manager for the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE). She has experience in education, non-profit management, civic engagement, and community service. Irma is from Houston, Texas, specifically the East Aldine area. Irma holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a double minor in General Business and Business Management from the University of Houston-Downtown. Irma is the daughter of Mexican immigrants and a first-generation college student for her family.
In 2009, Irma was introduced to the importance of diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) through her student involvement at the former Office of Diversity Initiatives at Lone Star College-North Harris. Since then, she has dedicated her career to providing advocacy for DEI.
Irma’s commitment to community service and her passion for empowering underrepresented communities have been the driving forces behind her involvement in the nonprofit sector. She continues to be a dedicated advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, inspiring others through her unwavering determination and her belief in the power of education to transform lives.

Irma’s favorite motto from her parents is “No hay opción pero seguir adelante”.
