Managing Director & Head of Client Field Services
Janie currently leads the Client Field Service organization within Wealth Management. This role oversees the U.S. field service team which is comprised of Regional Directors of Operations and over 100+ Wealth Analysts that support our client sales, investment, trust, and banking professionals nationwide. She also serves as Global Co-Chair for the Latino Alliance ERG, anadvisor to the Wealth DEI Council, and is a member of BMOs Black and Latino Advisory Council.
Prior to re-joining BMO, Janie worked at Northern Trust as a Senior Vice President. She served in various leadership roles over her tenure, which included Regional Head for Investment Management Services, Department Head for Retirement Services, Portfolio Accounting, Private Banking, Treasury Management, Trust Fees, Finance, and the Investment Manager Liaison Group. Janie started her professional career at Harris Bank (BMO) and worked for 6 years in Retirement Services.
Janie is a strategic & pragmatic leader who builds high performing teams, focuses on impactful change, and creates a culture of inclusion. Janie holds a Masters Degree in Finance andAccounting from Keller Graduate School of Management and a B.S. degree in Accounting from DePaul University. She also holds a Certified Public Account license in Illinois.
Janie serves on the BMO Asset Management Corp Board and the Casa Central Board of Directors. She has also been recognized as a Women of Capital (WMC) Champion of Change Award winner in 2023.
