Monica Pedraza

Co-Marketing Chair

 

Monica serves as the Marketing Co-Chair for the HACE Young Professionals Board. She is a sales and marketing professional with experience working on digital and traditional marketing strategy initiatives for general market reach and Hispanic marketing through her work experience at Chicago Tribune Media Group and NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. She obtained her MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology, Stuart School of Business concentrating in business innovation, strategic marketing management and data analytics.

Her experience includes multichannel and omnichannel advertising solutions across print, branded content, digital, programmatic, paid media, video, television, out of home, multicultural, events, and conversion marketing. She builds and fosters relationships with local, national, agency advertisers and brand marketers providing insights, proposals and marketing channel strategy recommendations.

Monica was born and raised in Pilsen. A Chicago community that is well known for its riches in Latino culture, music, art, culinary traditions and historic architecture. She played varsity softball for Benito Juarez High School and graduated in Honors while working as a bilingual translator within her native community for a well known Pilsen law firm to help support language barriers. She is a first generation graduate to receive her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration.
