Nancy Cambron Perez

Nancy Cambron Perez (she/hers/ella) is a scholar-practitioner, relationship-builder, and Diversity & Inclusion champion with 7+ years of experience in higher education administration, a strong commitment to talent acquisition and retention efforts, event planning, program management, employee resource groups, and multilingual social engagement.

Nancy comes to us from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, one of the world’s top business schools, where she is currently the Assistant Director of Admissions for the Evening & Weekend MBA program. Her focus areas include leading and developing the strategy for Diversity & Inclusion recruitment, retention, and programming efforts of the admissions team for Kellogg’s Evening & Weekend MBA Program. She also manages the strategy, selection, and yield efforts of the program.

For the past 7 years, she has successfully planned and executed over 1,500 events for Northwestern University. Working inside a wide range of offices such as Student Activities, Residential Life, Federal TRIO Programs, Multicultural Student Affairs, and the Dean of Students Office, she has a holistic understanding of faculty, staff, and students of color engagement and advancement.

Nancy earned a B.A. in Sociology and Latinx Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a M.Ed. in Higher Education from Loyola University Chicago, and SHRM Essentials of HR Management and Applied Program Management certificates from Northwestern University School of Professional Studies.

Nancy also serves as the co-chair for Northwestern Unidos: Latinx Professionals Coalition, Strategic Partnerships Chair for Kellogg School of Management’s Enlace Network, member of (HACE) Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement’s Young Professionals Board, and member of the multicultural sorority, Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Incorporated. In her spare time, you will find Nancy running her family’s business, Panaderia Taximaroa, a Mexican Bakery that has been in the Chicagoland area for over 25 years, trying out new workouts, and testing out the newest cocktail bars in the city.
