Program Manager
Noel immigrated from Cuba at the age of seven and was raised in Miami, FL. After testing out several majors in college, Noel graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, he is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University.
For years, Noel worked as a project manager in the pharmaceutical finance sector until the COVID-19 pandemic made him rethink his purpose. After completing a leadership development program and with encouragement from his network, Noel decided to make a career change and lend his talents to the nonprofit sector. As a first-generation immigrant, young professional, and member of the LGBT community Noel wants to bring traditionally marginalized identities into leadership spaces.
Noel is passionate about developing new voices and changing the power status quo in our nation. He shares his life in South Florida with his husband Carlos and spoiled pup Pepa.
