Olga Camargo, AIF®, is CEO & Chief of Financial Empowerment at Prosperity Rise Mindset and Founder of SHENIX®, a fintech platform advancing culturally relevant financial leadership and closing the wealth gap for women. She partners with C‑suite leaders, boards, universities, and nonprofits to design bilingual (English/Spanish) financial leadership programs that strengthen people, performance, and long‑term organizational health.

With more than 25 years in the financial industry, Olga has combined her advisory and governance leadership to positively influence the financial lives of hundreds of thousands of individuals across sectors through retirement plan education and financial leadership development.

Recognitions
Olga’s leadership has been recognized by prominent business and civic institutions. She served as the 2021 Chair of the Forbes Business Council Financial Services Industry Group and has been named one of Crain’s Chicago Business “Most Powerful Latinos.” She has also been honored on Diversity MBA’s “Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executive Leaders” national list, selected as an Aspen Ideas Festival Ricardo Salinas Scholar, and chosen for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs Emerging Leaders Program.

Board and governance roles
Olga has served as Emeritus Board Chair of the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE), past President of the Northeastern Illinois University Foundation Board, and past Treasurer of the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership Board. She has also chaired the Forbes Business Council Financial Services Group. These governance roles give her a distinctive view into how boards and executive teams can embed financial leadership into talent, equity, and workforce strategies.

Olga is the author of the bilingual book RISE: A Beginner’s Guide to 401(k) & 403(b) Accounts, available in English and Spanish, and is a sought‑after speaker for corporate, higher education, and industry convenings on financial leadership, retirement plan literacy, and closing wealth gaps. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Arts in Language, Literacy, and Rhetoric from the University of Illinois Chicago and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation.
