This workshop introduces participants to the fundamental concepts of cybersecurity and its critical importance in today’s digital workplace. As technology becomes increasingly integrated into all aspects of work, understanding cybersecurity basics is essential for protecting both organizational assets and personal information. Through engaging discussions and practical exercises, attendees will learn how to identify potential threats and implement basic security measures to safeguard data and systems.

This session focuses on leveraging storytelling to support and inspire meaningful allyship for immigrant and DACA employees in the workplace. Through personal narratives, practical tools attendees will learn how to identify opportunities for allyship, use storytelling as a tool for advocacy, and create systems of support that empower immigrant and DACA employees. Attendees will learn how storytelling can increase awareness of the unique challenges and contributions of immigrant and DACA individuals to create safe spaces for dialogue, amplify underrepresented voices, and foster a culture of inclusivity and empowerment.
